Während der Vorbereitungen für unsere Reise haben wir viel gelesen und recherchiert. Besonders andere Reiseblogs haben uns fasziniert und wir waren froh, dass wir mit unserem Traum nicht alleine sind. Mit jedem Artikel über die Philosophie des Reisens und dem Suchen und Finden des eigenen „Ichs“, haben wir uns jedoch gefragt, ob wir die gleichen Beweggründe haben. Fühlen wir uns unwohl? Sind wir unzufrieden? Geht es uns schlecht in unserem Leben? Nein!
Wir sind weder auf der Suche nach uns selbst noch nach dem Sinn des Lebens. Wir suchen auch nicht das perfekte Glück, denn das haben wir schon mit uns gefunden – Wir wollen reisen und uns ein eigenes Bild von unserer Welt machen. Vielleicht ein paar Vorurteile aus dem Weg räumen, offen dem Neuen und Unerwarteten entgegentreten und die Gelassenheit des Seins genießen. Aber egal wohin es uns verschlägt, wir wollen vor allem aus unserer Komfortzone heraus. Wir sind davon überzeugt, dass das Reisen einen Menschen positiv verändert und einen die Erfahrungen über sich hinaus wachsen lassen.
Doch jede große Reise beginnt mit der Vorfreude und dem eigentlichen Planen. So wurde erst einmal die Weltkarte ausgebreitet und die Länder festgelegt, die wir auf unserer Reise entdecken wollen. Nach dem Check der Klimazonen ergab sich die Flugrichtung quasi von alleine. Es sollte Richtung Westen gehen und so lautet der erste Stopp – Lima (Peru).
Zu Beginn unserer Reise werden wir mit den Inkagöttern speisen, durch die weiße Wüste schreiten und über die hohen Anden klettern. Mit der Offroadtour durch die wunderschöne Natur Patagoniens vollenden wir unseren Trip durch Südamerika.
Weiter führt uns unsere Reise in das Land der Kiwis. Von Norden aus geht es gen Süden. Begleitet von den Schlachtrufen der Maoris möchten wir uns von der Natur Neuseelands überwältigen lassen.
Nach einem kurzen Abstecher in die Hauptstadt Australiens geht es in ein Land, in dem einst große Nationen versuchten, dieses Fleckchen Erde zu bezwingen. Wir möchten Vietnam jedoch nicht erobern, sondern seine ganze Vielfalt erleben und tief in die uns fremde Kultur eintauchen.
Von hier aus schlagen wir uns über den Mekong River weiter Richtung Kambodscha, wo unsere Reise vorerst ein Ende findet.

Anticipation is the greatest pleasure
During the preparations for our trip we did a lot of research. Especially other travel blogs have fascinated us and we were glad that we are not alone having our dream. Each article on the philosophy of travelling and the “search and find” one’s own „ego“, we have asked ourselves whether we have the same motivations. Do we feel uncomfortable? Are we satisfied? Do we feel bad with our lives? No!
Neither we are looking for ourselves, nor after the meaning of life. We’re not looking for the perfect happiness, because we have already found us, we want to travel to create our own image of the world. Maybe we will move some prejudices out of the way, open to face the new and unexpected and enjoy the serenity of being. But no matter where we end up at the end, we want to get out of our comfort zone. We are convinced that travelling changes people for the better and the experience gives the opportunity to grow beyond itself.
But every great journey begins with the anticipation and the actual planning. The world map was spread and we identified the countries, we would like to explore on our journey. After checking the climate zones, the flight direction arised by itself. It should go westwards and we marked the first stop as Lima (Peru).
At the beginning of our journey we will dine with the Inca gods, stride through the White Desert and climb over the high Andes. With the off-road tour through the beautiful nature of Patagonia we finish our tour of South America.
We travel further into the land of the Kiwis. From the north it goes south. Accompanied by the battle cries of Maoris we want to let us overwhelm by the nature of New Zealand.
After a short visit of the capital of Australia, we travel to a country where once great nations tried to conquer this part of the world. We do not want to conquer Vietnam, but we want to experience its diversity and immerse in the foreign culture. From here, we beat us on the Mekong River towards Cambodia where our journey comes to an end for the time being.
